Clark Buckner

Hi there! My name’s Clark, I’m founding partner of Relationary Marketing, an award-winning podcast production agency that creates branded podcasts for mid to large-sized organizations. I’ve had the pleasure of working with global PR firms like FINN Partners and clients such as Jack Daniel’s, Bridgestone, and Vanderbilt Health. My team and I also produce “You Might Be Right,” a popular podcast featuring former Tennessee Governors Bill Haslam and Phil Bredesen. We’re passionate about supporting our local community, and we work with several nonprofits, including Nashville Software School, to share engaging stories.

I like to say I got into podcasting BEFORE it was cool. Since around 2013, I’ve conducted thousands of podcast interviews and worked with over 100 clients. I also lead the Nashville Podcasters meetup, one of the nation’s largest podcast meetups. In 2022 and 2023, I was recognized as one of Nashville’s most influential people in marketing in the Nashville Post’s annual “In Charge” list, and in 2020, I was honored with the Nashville Emerging Leader in Public Relations, Advertising, and Marketing award by the Nashville Chamber of Commerce.

I’m an adjunct professor at Belmont University, where I teach Digital Content Creation and foster connections between alumni, students, and professional digital creators. I also serve as a staff member at the Nashville Entrepreneur Center, actively engaging and connecting ecosystem partners in the city through podcasts and digital media.

When I’m not working, I love tending to my indoor plants, practicing film photography, and watching a good movie. I grew up in East Tennessee and moved to Nashville in 2009 to attend Belmont University, where I met my wonderful wife, Hope. We now share our home with an adorable 11-pound Havanese dog named Saasy Pup.

The Chase Studio

Podcasting is more than just modern, accessible storytelling

My team works to develop podcast driven content marketing opportunities, conference promotion strategies, and one-of-a-kind relationship nurturing to facilitate authentic human connection.

I respect the medium, its artistic capabilities and rising influence

I have committed myself to helping others through my Five B2B Podcast Steps, whether it’s consulting with individuals interested in navigating their new passion for this magical medium or helping multi-million dollar corporations looking to understand (and implement) content marketing amplified by podcasting.

Downtown Nashville is where you’ll (probably) find me

It’s quite possible I was last seen at the Nashville Entrepreneur Center, probably being walked by SaaSy Pup. I manage and operate our studio there called The Chase Studio, where our clients record and I support all EC recordings within this beautiful space.

Hope Cooper Buckner

About Hope: Writer passionate about nonprofit development, mentorship and women’s empowerment. Believer in collaboration, lover of people, supporter of real storytelling

Hope is my wife. I’m her husband. We’re partners on this lifelong adventure. In many instances, she is the “how” to my “wow,” and when I start to float around with big ideas that extend a bit too far out there, she dreams right alongside me, while keeping us both focused. We’re parents to SaaSy Pup and native to Good Ole Rocky Top Tennessee.

She occasionally has bandwidth to consult on communications & public relations projects, but she’s not cheap (trust me I know 😂). Her primary vertical is in the non-profit space.

She is self described as a, “A public relations junkie, dedicated writer, avid nonprofit supporter, devoted reader and TLC addict, I am a graduate of Belmont University, with a Bachelor’s Degree in public relations and education.” She’s finishing up her Masters Degree in Non-profit leadership. I’m not quite sure how she does it all!

More about Hope:

I believe in collaboration, communication and the power of a strong, well created brand. I am passionate about women’s development, mentorship and the empowerment of change agents through personal relationships and consistent communication. A storyteller by nature, I am deeply committed to the power of strong relationships among organizations and thrive on telling the stories of those around me. I am dedicated to connecting people to the passions they were created to live. Above all, I believe in people and their ability to do powerful things.

If you would like to meet with her over Coffee (she’s loves Bongo Java on Belmont Blvd.) and geek out over public relations, communications, women’s empowerment and event management (fun fact: she coordinates weddings for “fun”) I would love to put you in touch. You can learn more about her here: Hope Cooper Buckner.
